Kirtan and Workshops with Dharmashakti
"Dharmashakti created, in a few short hours, a Diwalli village scene in our studio. Lights and candles and incense built a wonderful ambiance to welcome people to the Kirtan and start them, many who had never been to a Kirtan before, in a wonderful way. The Kirtan itself was awesome. The musical was unique, combining both ancient and modern forms and instruments in a way that worked and moved us all. The words were translated and introduced to the participants by Dharmashakti in a way that eased people's concerns and invited them to participate safely. Soon even hardened non-singers were singing away and swept away by the experience. All who came were touched and gladdened, and most took home CD's so they could listen to it again."
